Can IBS turn into Crohn?

I have had IBS for a few years. Can this turn in to crohn disease?

Not a chance. IBS is not life threatening and is not known to turn in to any other disorder. IBS is a lot simpler to treat than crohn disease. Crohn disease affects the entire gut, mouth, anus and many other organs. The only thing IBS can you turn into is –crazy. I suggest you stop worrying about crohn-the anxiety is not good for you.
